Our “snapshots” identify best practices that Regional Fisheries Management Organizations (RFMOs) should follow to manage tuna fisheries sustainably.

In detailed tables, the snapshots compare tuna RFMO progress in implementing the practices.

For a high-level comparison across the five RFMOs, see our Tuna RFMO Best Practice Performance “scorecard” below. We also publish companion “best-practices reports” on these topics and “RFMO progress” infographics.

Description

The Skippers Workshop team has developed posters for purse-seine fishers. The posters show “best practices” for handling sharks, manta rays, and sea turtles that are incidentally caught. The posters are based on the best practices for bycatch-handling guidebook produced by Poisson et al. 2012.

This is a Vietnamese translation of a best-practices poster for purse-seine fishers used in ISSF Skippers Workshops. The poster is also available in Chinese, English, French, IndonesianKorean, and Spanish.
