The covers of our reports include suggested citations to make it easy to cite ISSF reports in your own research. Many of our reports are resources for fishery improvement projects (FIPs).

Description

Vessels that cannot obtain an International Maritime Organization (IMO) number can apply for a Unique Vessel Identifier (UVI) from ISSF using this Excel form.

An ISSF-UVI number will be issued only to vessels less than 100 GT that are authorized to fish in waters under national jurisdiction. Refer to the “ReadMe” tab on the Excel form for more information.
