The workshop on “Implementation of the Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management in Tuna RFMOs: Advancing the Development of Ecosystem Indicators,” held at SPC in Noumea (New Caledonia) from 2–6 March 2026, brought together experts from tuna Regional Fisheries Management Organizations (tRFMOs) and partner institutions to advance the development and application of ecosystem and climate indicators in support of an Ecosystem Approach to Fisheries Management (EAFM) in tRFMOs.
