Tuna fisheries are often held up as one of ocean conservation’s biggest concerns, but in many parts of the world they are being managed more sustainably. ISSF President Susan Jackson talks with “How to Protect the Ocean” host Andrew Lewin about ISSF’s “Status of the Stocks” report, the latest of which found that nearly all of the tuna catch came from stocks that were not overfished. On the topic of tuna, she comments, “We are fortunately working with an incredibly resilient group of species.”
